The City of Altoona has released the meeting schedule for the City Council for the year 2026. The document outlines the dates, times, and locations for both Voting Meetings and Work Sessions.

Meeting Logistics

  • Voting Meetings: Held at 6:00 P. M. at the City of Altoona Training Facility & Council Chambers (1320 Washington Avenue, Altoona, PA 16601).
  • Work Sessions: Held at 6:00 P. M. at Altoona City Hall, Common Room, 4th Floor (1301 12th Street).
  • Public Access: Voting meetings are open to the public and can be viewed live on Breezeline Cable Public Access Channel 14, Breezeline Stream TV Channel 9001, or the City’s YouTube channel.

Monthly Schedule

All meetings are scheduled on Mondays, with the exception of December.

  • January: Voting Meeting on Monday, January 12.
  • February: Voting Meeting on Monday, February 9; Work Session on Monday, February 23.
  • March: Voting Meeting on Monday, March 9; Work Session on Monday, March 23.
  • April: Voting Meeting on Monday, April 13; Work Session on Monday, April 27.
  • May: Voting Meeting on Monday, May 11. No Work Session is scheduled due to the Memorial Day Holiday.
  • June: Voting Meeting on Monday, June 8.
  • July: Voting Meeting on Monday, July 13.
  • August: Voting Meeting on Monday, August 10; Work Session on Monday, August 24.
  • September: Voting Meeting on Monday, September 14; Work Session on Monday, September 28.
  • October: Voting Meeting on Monday, October 12; Work Session on Monday, October 26.
  • November: Voting Meeting on Monday, November 9.
  • December: Voting Meeting on Tuesday, December 1.
